INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR - GOVERNMENT CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Job Summary:

Optimal Ventures, LLC is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Government Contract Specialist to assist with identifying, evaluating, and managing government contract opportunities. As an independent contractor, you will leverage your expertise to help our company secure and execute government contracts effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opportunity Identification:
• Research and identify government contract opportunities through platforms like SAM.gov and other procurement sources.
• Provide insights into contract requirements and opportunities that align with company capabilities.
• Proposal Preparation:
• Assist in developing and preparing compliant and competitive proposals.
• Ensure all documents meet solicitation requirements and submission deadlines.
• Contract Compliance and Management:
• Advise on compliance with federal, state, and local contracting regulations.
• Monitor contract performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as a liaison between Optimal Ventures, LLC, and contracting agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in government contracting, procurement, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation:

• Payment will be project-based or hourly, as negotiated.
• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
