INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR - BID MANAGER

Job Summary:

Optimal Ventures, LLC is looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Bid Manager to support the development and submission of winning proposals for government and commercial contracts. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in government contract research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proposal Management:
• Lead the planning, development, and submission of proposals.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather required information.
• Compliance Assurance:
• Ensure all proposals meet legal, regulatory, and solicitation-specific requirements.
• Review and edit proposals for accuracy and consistency.
• Strategy Development:
• Develop strategies to enhance the competitiveness of proposals.
• Identify and communicate value propositions and differentiators.
• Post-Submission Activities:
• Track proposal outcomes and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a database of submitted proposals and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bid management or proposal writing, preferably in the government contracting sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and solicitation requirements.
• Exceptional project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation:

• Payment will be project-based or hourly, as negotiated.
• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
